We’ve almost come up on a year since ETRM Group’s COO and General Counsel, Kenya Parrish-Dixon, learned she had been named as a finalist in the Stellar Women in eDiscovery category of Relativity’s Innovation Awards. She’s had a busy year supporting the Stellar Women initiative since then!
Kenya’s involvement kicked off last September with a podcast featuring Kenya and fellow Innovation Award finalists. They discussed their spirit of innovation and offered advice for up-and-coming eDiscovery leaders. The podcast and blog can be found here: https://www.relativity.com/blog/stellar-women-2020-innovation-award-finalists/.
Kenya found out she won in the Stellar Women in eDiscovery category shortly after that podcast was aired. Because of Covid-19, Kenya received her award virtually at RelativityFest in late September 2020. You can watch Kenya’s acceptance video here: https://relativityfest.com/archive/2020/innovation-awards/. She was part of a virtual discussion with other nominees here: https://relativityfest.com/archive/2020/innovation-awards/
Kenya participated in another Stellar Women podcast in early January, the 2020 Year in Review. During this podcast, Kenya and host Mary Rechtoris discussed what Kenya learned about herself in 2020, the importance of mentors, and why you should always have a plan. Kenya and others from the Stellar Women community contributed their predictions for 2021 in an article you can find here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/19-predictions-resolutions-more-from-stellar-women-mary-rechtoris/
The ETRM Group champions women in technology and we embrace the message and mission of the Stellar Women initiative at Relativity. We continue to support their effort by promoting all their work throughout the year. You can nominate a Stellar Woman in your life here: https://resources.relativity.com/stellar-women-nomination.html
