POSITION TITLE: Proposal Writer
In this role, you will be responsible for the following (but not limited to):
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have experience with reviewing and responding to RFPs and RFIs in Cybersecurity, Information Technology and/or Information Governance
- Must have experience to review and understand RFI/RFP requirements to lead development of a compelling and compliant response.
- Must have a proven track record of RFP/RFQ analysis to prepare a compliant response.
- Must be able to utilize, amend, and/or modify past experience and content to prepare RFI/RFP responses that are compliant to opportunity specific requirements.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and collaborate with proposal team members to obtain needed information to support RFI/RFP development.
- Must be able to independently lead draft development through final RFI/RFP submission.
- Must work well in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 4 years of working experience may be substituted for education requirement.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience writing proposal content for federal contracting opportunities
- Familiarity with general IT concepts and terminology
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint) and Adobe Pro
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform write and edit materials
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality products
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver high-quality materials
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently, as well as strong interpersonal skills that foster the ability to work effectively on teams, communicate effectively
